Ventoy will prepare your USB drive so that you can copy ISO/WIM/IMG/EFI files to and from your drive, and you can play them directly. You don't have to format the disk over and over in order to transfer your files.
You can copy several files at once, the same way you can transfer files on your operating system. Both UEFI and Legacy BIOS are supported, and this tool supports most types of operating systems. According to Ventoy's official website, they have tested the tool with more than 650 ISO files.
The app does its job without menus or added features, so it looks like you're interacting with a file rather than working with a tool. It's not clear why Ventoy would add an EFI partition to the USB, maybe it's so that people can boot to UEFI.
The good thing about Ventoy is that you really only use it to setup your USB partitions. Once you do that, you can easily burn the ISO files to your device. You don't need Ventoy to actually do the transfer, which is something similar software and apps can't boast of.
Ventoy does not add as many extraneous files to your USB that it needs to do its job. Ventoy shows you all the ISO files on your device, and shows you in alphabetical order. There are no unnecessary menus when using Ventoy, it is a very simplified application.
